Today’s blog post will be all about veins and vascularity. We are often asked by customers what supplements should they be purchasing, how should they be eating, and what exercises can they do to increase vascularity.
The truth is…. The answer might not be what you want to hear; the number one factor is genetics.
————————————–WITH THAT SAID—————————————
There are still several things we recommend that has been nearly fool-proof in enhancing vascularity.
- Low Bodyfat
Whether you were blessed with great genetic vascularity or not, one of the surefire ways you can dramatically enhance your vascularity is by reducing your bodyfat. Many people are often surprised how much vascularity even a few percent of bodyfat can hide. It’s actual more rare to find someone with poor vascularity than it is with someone with great vascularity. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to be a genetic freak to have good vascularity, you simply need a low body fat. We recommend trying to get under 10% bodyfat.
While this might not be as surefire of a method as lowering your bodyfat, this is certainly the easiest method. When we are not properly hydrated, we are creating a state of vasoconstriction, which essentially makes your veins “disappear”. On the contrary, staying well hydrated causes more overall fluid to be carried by your veins, causing them to dilate (essentially making them more visible). Sodium also plays a factor in this, as too much sodium can cause dehydration which will only make things more difficult for those looking to show off their veins. We recommend keeping sodium intake below 1500mg a day, while also trying to drink a minimum of 1 gallon of water a day.
Another big tool that should be in everyone’s toolbox is cardio exercise. This one is often overlooked, especially by the gymgoer’s that swear against cardio and solely focus on weight lifting. We see a lot of fitness enthusiasts who are extremely consistent with weightlifting and have been able to sculpt themselves an impressive physique, all while having excellent hydration and diet. With that said… these people STILL cannot see great vascularity.
Does this sound like you? If so, we’d be willing to bet that you don’t do as much cardio.
We recommend incorporating 45 minutes of aerobic cardio (swimming, running, biking, etc…) 2-3x a week to see an improvement in vascularity, blood flow, and circulation.
If you are still not satisfied with your vascularity after incorporating all the above, then supplements may finally help you climb over the vascularity hump. While we do not think any single supplement can magically give you insane vascularity without any modifications to diet or lifestyle, there are a few supplements that have a rep for greatly aiding in vascularity.
Some of our favorites include….
PlasmaJet – a nitric oxide maximizer that can drastically increase vascularity
Nitrozine – a groundbreaking product for nitric oxide production & utilization, which will support a more vascular look
DNA Dispatch – a hemoglobin transport system to increase blood flow for bigger pumps and more vascularity
While there is no “magic fix” to vascularity, it is pretty easy to see some dramatic results with the proper lifestyle changes along with the help of a few supplements. We hope that you found this article useful, and as always, feel free to comment below with your thoughts.
